Cecil County Dragway will host its first NHRA SPORTSnationals in 2026, with the Testo NHRA Chesapeake SPORTSnationals set for May 23–24 as part of a Memorial Day weekend doubleheader. The weekend begins with a Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series divisional on May 21–22, bringing hundreds of Sportsman racers from across the country to the Division 1 facility.
The event is one of four SPORTSnationals races on the 2026 schedule and will feature eight categories competing for major prize money and contingency awards. As part of NHRA’s 75th Anniversary season, winners will earn special diamond Wally trophies.
Testo — a company known for portable and stationary measurement instruments — is the title sponsor. Testo’s vice‑president of marketing, Michael Ficacci, said they wanted an NHRA SPORTSnationals in the Northeast and felt Memorial Day weekend at Cecil County was the perfect fit . To celebrate the United States’ 250th anniversary, Testo is offering racers a 15 % discount on its website using the code NHRA15
