45th Annual Ceremony
Special Recognition – NHRA Northeast Division Sponsors – Lucas Oil, Summit, JEG’s, Sony & PC Richard, MXI Industrial, Speed Shop at Atco, Select Performance, Glick Fire Equipment, Classic Auto Body & Royal Pet Cremation, Hoopes Fire Protection, R Champlin Crane & Excavating, Havis.
11th Annual Northeast Division Meritorious Service Award – goes to Ryck Campbell & Larry Wiggins for their 30 years of devotion to the sport.
Image of Youth Award – This award goes to a second generation racer for their exemplary achievements on the track. This year the award goes to Chris DePascale – 2011 Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series Super Comp Champion
2011 Management Excellence Award – this award is presented to Joe Lombardo of New England Dragway for his hard work and dedication to his facility and the sport of drag racing.
2011 50th Year Anniversary Award – 2011 marked the 50th anniversary for two tracks in the Northeast Division. Mason-Dixon Dragway & Capitol Raceway have been dedicated drag racing facilities for 50 years.
2011 National Dragster Contributor Award – this annual award recognizes the person who exemplifies reporting on their events. This year the winner is – Jeanne Linke – Old Bridge Twp. Raceway Park.
National Dragster’s “Be a Winner/Be a Member” – This award goes to the track with the most winners who are also members. This year the award goes to – Old Bridge Twp. Raceway Park
NHRA JDRL Eastern Conference Finals
The Northeast was represented in the Winner’s circle at the annual Conference Finals held at Bristol Dragway. We had 3 winners in 2011.

2011 Northeast Division JR. Dragster Championships
This year’s event was held at Mason-Dixon Dragway in Boonsboro, MD. Special thanks go out to Elmer and Cathy Wachter and the staff at Mason-Dixon Dragway for the tremendous amount of time and effort they put into this event.

Northeast Division Summit ET Finals
2011 was the 37th year for this event. Without the help from Summit Racing Products, and Luzerne County Community College, this race would not have the prestige it carries. This year the 14 participating tracks sent 50 entries plus a High School Competitor to US 13 Dragway to determine the champions. Special thanks to Charlie Cathell and his staff.
