Greetings in the Name of our Blessed Lord;

May 14, 2002.     It is only days away to the start of an exciting race filled weekend.  Yes we are all headed to the Matco Tools Nationals.  Friends from all over will be getting together to rehash old races and talk strategy for upcoming ones. As this season begins for some of us, there are those who can only dream of being there!  Among those are :

        Bob Bruno  (wife Denise) who has completed another round of Chemo, with the possibility of two more to go.  Then he will undergo a new treatment of stem cell transplant.

        Larry Dentinger (wife Bonny) is scheduled to enter the hospital on May the 20th for surgery. He expects to be there about three days barring no complications.   Larry is hoping to be back behind the wheel in time to race at Lebanon Valley.  Cards can be sent to:   9 Hillcrest Drive
                                         Lake Panorama
                                         Sussex NJ 07461

        Sal Nicastro  (wife Mary) continues to improve daily.  It may seem just like little things to us, but these are giant steps to someone who has been as ill as Sal.  Just the other day he surprised everyone by calling an old friend and insisting his son take him to visit.  Sal is chopping at the bit to be back in racing.  We are looking forward to the day ourselves.

        Betty Moskal is slowly adjusting to life without Jack.  She has good days and then there are those that are very tough to get through.

        Andy Stenson Jr. and family wish to express their thanks to all those who sent cards and monitary gifts after the lose of his father,  Andy.  It helped them all manage to get through a difficult time.

        Please continue to keep each of these in your prayers.  It is the small expressions that help those who are sick or hurting get through another day.

                                                        In His Service,
                                                        Chaplain Dan and Miss Claire

It is once again with a heavy heart that I must relay the sad news of a dear friend's passing. On April 15th at 12:30 P.M. Andy Stinson passed away. He was a much loved stock racer.  We will miss seeing Andy sitting beside his Big White and Red Chevy Wagon ( R stock).  Andy leaves behind his wife Billie, two sons, Troy and Andy and a daughter Heidi.

Cards may be sent to the Stinson Family at 71 Arrow Point Drive, Glenmore Pennsylvania 19343Funeral arrangements are incomplete at this time, I will post that information as it becomes available.

What a weekend we had at US 13.  Yes it was windy and cold, but meeting up with friends we have not seen since October warmed the heart, if not the hands and feet.  Records came and records went. Sometimes so fast you could not keep track of them. It was a great start for a super year.

Many of you have already read that Claire and I are going full time in this ministry.  Every day we see the need to be available to visit those who have become ill, or just need someone to talk a problem through.  Yes we can help anytime of the day or night by phone, but many times a much more personal contact is needed. Our desire is to be able to assist each and everyone of you with that personal contact. If you would like to know how to help in this matter, please call us and we will share that with you.

While visiting with Star Scott, we heard that Janet is still undergoing chemo treatment and continues to enjoy the ability to remain at home with her family.

Sal Nacastro continues to amaze his doctors with his progress.  Each day brings small changes for the better.

Bob Bruno, a stock driver from New York, was recently diagnosed with cancer.  Bob is scheduled for a bone marrow transplant in the near further.
